I loved the peace and tranquility , the vibe of beach and bush adds to the whole experience. Our hosts were amazingly accomodating and full of knowledge of the area, I was fascinated and would definitely return one day. Jacqui & June
I couldn’t say I didn’t like anything, my arrival was last minute and they went with the flow and accommodated us. I didn’t like that I wasn’t aware that ‘Koru’ accommodations existed till I saw their sign. Please get yourselves advertised !!

We stayed for one night and found the peaceful setting to be within a 10-15 minutes' walk from the city center.

Appreciated spotless and huge rooms!
We had a really great stay in Barrytown right by Barrytown and a beautiful beach and the coast. Hosts were helpful, even gave us room for a normal basin to fit in the bathroom. The location of the apartment was marvellous and tranquil for our needs, in a pleasant environment...

Located in a serene natural setting, surrounded by native bush, with a nearby lake and stunning beach. Welcoming hosts provide a comfortable cabin with full facilities, including a log burner. Enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. Continental breakfast was tasty.

I thoroughly enjoyed to be there, spent 2 restful days overall. It was located in a nice enough area just next door to Greymouth and Hokitika, a beautiful `` wild beach '', and the ocean and flora and fauna around,.

My partner and I stayed at Kiwi Cabin at Koru for a short getaway to explore Punakaiki Pancake Rocks. The cabin had everything we needed to be comfortable, including electric blankets and a log burner. We loved the view of the sea and the continental breakfast provided. The fully self-contained caravan was like a 4-star motel room, with a full kitchen and a great warm shower with good pressure. The location was perfect, away from the commercial crowds, and we enjoyed the private beach just a 5-minute walk away. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and we even had the option to enjoy a delicious home-cooked meal for a reasonable price. a real gem of a place!
We do recommend this hotel.

Kiwi Cabin at Koru is a hidden gem with an ideal location near the beach. Guests have the opportunity to take a leisurely walk down to the beach and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The cabin itself is cozy and well-equipped, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts are warm and friendly, making guests feel welcome.
During our stay, there were some noisy neighbors who stayed up late near the jacuzzi, disturbing the peacefulness of the night.

We had a fantastic stay at Koru Homestay! the location is absolutely beautiful, with a private beach just a short walk away. the caravan we stayed in was like a 4-star motel room, fully self-contained with a full kitchen and all the facilities we needed. the warm shower had great water pressure, and we even had breakfast provided in the caravan. the owners were very friendly and welcoming, and their dog Roxy was a delight. We loved the outdoor deck and the opportunity to relax in the hot tub, although sadly we didn't get to use it due to the weather. a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay here again. Cons: Could not be improved in any way. 🌟.

We had a wonderful stay at Kiwi Cabin And Homestay At Koru With Hot Tub. The cabin was comfortably equipped with all the necessities, including a small kitchenette and a cozy outdoor seating area. The shower had good water pressure, although it was a bit low for taller individuals like myself. The private access to the beach was a major highlight - we had miles of sandy coastline all to ourselves. And let's not forget the delicious homemade beer brewed by Nigel, which was a great bonus. we had a friendly welcome and enjoyed our time here immensely.

We got great value for our money and the room was fantastic, clean, and beautifully decorated. The location near the beach was perfect for enjoying a beautiful sunset. The staff, Nigel and Karen, were incredibly friendly and gave us helpful tips to explore the area.
The morning meal could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The location of the cabin is stunning, with amazing views of the virgin forest and being close to the ocean. Guests can enjoy a peaceful walk down to the beach, taking in the natural beauty of the coastline. The hosts are friendly and accommodating, providing helpful directions and advice for travelers. The cabin itself is spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a well-equipped kitchen and a warm fire. The outdoor sitting area and hot tub add to the overall relaxing experience.
The wifi in the caravan did not work as advertised, and the television had no channels, only DVDs to watch.
